Shae Monistere is a compassionate and highly skilled healthcare professional with over a decade of nursing experience, specializing in physical rehabilitation, brain and spinal cord injury care, and memory care. As the Executive Director at NeuLife Rehabilitation of Louisiana, Shae oversees the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and leads the clinical team with integrity, expertise, and empathy.

Throughout her career, Shae has remained committed to helping patients achieve the highest possible level of independence and quality of life. Her clinical leadership ensures that every patient receives a personalized care plan rooted in evidence-based practice and delivered with dignity and respect.

LaRhonda Abron

Program Manager

LaRhonda Abron is a dedicated and experienced healthcare professional specializing in program management and patient care for individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries. As a Program Manager at NeuLife Rehabilitation, LaRhonda combines her clinical expertise with strong leadership to ensure that each person served receives compassionate, individualized, and high-quality care.

With an extensive background in memory care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing, LaRhonda has held multiple leadership roles throughout her career—each reinforcing her commitment to excellence in patient outcomes and team collaboration. She is also a certified medical billing and coding professional, bringing valuable administrative insight and precision to her role.

LaRhonda’s passion for fostering supportive, recovery-focused environments is matched by her dedication to empowering both patients and staff. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, finding inspiration in new experiences and cultures.

Occupational Therapist

With 37 years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist, Elizabeth serves as the Lead Occupational Therapist at NeuLife Rehabilitation of Louisiana. She brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and a strong commitment to the field of neuro rehabilitation, where her passion lies in helping individuals recover function, build independence, and improve quality of life after neurological injuries.

Elizabeth is dedicated to delivering person-centered care and continuously seeks out innovative techniques and evidence-based modalities to advance her treatment approach. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, believing that establishing a strong foundation physically, emotionally, and cognitively is essential for long-term success.

As a respected leader and lifelong learner, Elizabeth’s expertise, compassion, and drive for clinical excellence make her an invaluable member of the NeuLife team.

Kelly Ruth, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from Mississippi State University in 2011. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arkansas State University in 2015 and has devoted the majority of her career to neurological rehabilitation.

As a Physical Therapist at NeuLife Rehabilitation of Louisiana, Kelly works closely with individuals recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and spinal cord injury (SCI). She brings a blend of clinical expertise and compassionate care to every patient interaction, helping each person navigate their unique recovery journey.

Driven by a deep commitment to improving quality of life, Kelly takes a functional, evidence-based approach tailored to each patient’s unique journey. She focuses on maximizing independence and facilitating recovery through personalized treatment plans that promote neuroplasticity and long-term progress.

Kriston Pauley, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Kriston Pauley is a licensed medical Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient neurorehabilitation. Prior to joining NeuLife Rehabilitation, she worked with adults recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and progressive neurological conditions, with a strong focus on functional cognition, language, and motor speech recovery.

At NeuLife, Kriston continues to apply her expertise in a dynamic and holistic setting. She is dedicated to providing person-centered, functional therapy designed to enhance communication, cognitive skills, and overall quality of life. Her approach emphasizes empowering patients to regain independence within their natural living environments.

Kriston is passionate about supporting long-term progress and takes pride in being part of an interdisciplinary team committed to whole-person healing.
